What is a video form builder: the term explained
A video form builder is a tool for assembling structured workflows in which an answer can be a short video recording as well as typed data. Each step asks one question, the person filling it in either enters information or records a clip, and the completed submission comes back as a single merged video with a structured report beside it.
It sits between two older tools. A conventional form builder collects fields and attachments. A camera app collects footage with no structure at all. A video form builder collects both in one pass, in an order the organisation decided in advance.
What does a video form builder do?
The builder side is for whoever designs the workflow. A flow is divided into segments, and each segment carries its own questions. A question can take a typed or selected answer, or it can ask for a recording, and the two can depend on each other: answer yes to a question and the flow asks you to film what you just confirmed.
