The loan file
You have the documents. But do you really know what's happening on site?

Verification today
Every lender already chooses one of three ways to handle a check. Each has its place.
Some files go unchecked. It saves effort until the loan stops performing, and by then problems that were visible on site have been invisible in the file for months.
An inspector or account manager sees the asset in person. The most direct view, at a price: scheduling, travel and days of waiting. So it happens less often than the portfolio needs.
Quick and easy. But photos can be edited, reused or generated with AI. How do you know what you're looking at?
US construction loans in a single study. Going from two to three on-site inspections per 100 days was associated with a 3.64 percentage point lower probability of default, against a baseline of about 5 percent.
Remote evidence also has a place in the rules: Fannie Mae's Servicing Guide allows remote inspections of insured-loss repairs based on borrower-submitted photos or video for loans that are current, provided the media confirms the location and has not been altered. Servicing Guide B-5-01

What lenders want to know before sending their first capture link.
Unlike ordinary photo requests, Venta Capture guides users through a controlled recording session. Session-specific codes, device and movement checks help identify suspicious submissions. Additional checks look for signs of editing, AI generation and previously used material. The results are presented to the credit team as evidence to assess, not an automatic verdict.
No. Where a formal valuation or physical inspection is required, it remains required. Venta Capture adds a check that can be run more often and with less effort, so inspectors and valuers spend their time where the evidence raises a question.
No. The link opens in the phone's browser, with no app to install and no account to create. Opened on a computer, the page shows a QR code to continue on the phone, because recording happens on the phone.
Every file receives a digital fingerprint (SHA-256) and a signed seal the moment it arrives, and the case gets an independent timestamp from an external authority. If a file changes afterwards, it no longer matches its seal. Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, the capture link can only send, and the institution sets the retention period.
Every case can be shared through a view link, or copied with its data into another system in one click. For a direct connection there is a REST API with webhooks. A link to a specific loan or collateral system is set up around the institution's process and scoped on a call.
Per workflow, location is off, requested or required. If it is requested and the borrower declines, the case says so plainly and counts it against no one. If it is required, the capture cannot continue without it. Location comes from the phone and is shown on a map: a signal for the reviewer to weigh against the address on file, not proof on its own.
Only if the institution allows it for that workflow. By default, photos and video are recorded in the session. An allowed upload is checked on its metadata, for signs of editing and against public online sources, and is labelled "Provenance: not verified" next to the session material.
The credit team. Venta Capture records which checks were performed, what was measured and where something deviated. Each finding can be marked as reviewed, with name and time, so the file shows who looked at what.
See it working. Then decide.
Take one check the team runs today, a draw, an audit or a delivery, and send it as a capture link. See what your institution receives.
